Alumni Event
The HAS Annual Alumni Event is a celebration of recovery and of those courageous men and women living lives free of substance abuse. The event is an opportunity for former participants to reconnect with one another and with HAS staff, and to receive well-deserved recognition for their sobriety. It also provides inspiration for current participants, showing them that treatment works, that long-term recovery is possible, and that life without drugs or alcohol can be rewarding and fulfilling. At each event, we honor participants who have a year or more in recovery with certificates of achievement marking their years of sobriety; together, the participants we recognize each year have achieved hundreds of years in recovery. The Alumni Event features dining, music, performances by participants and alumni, and inspirational testimony from men and women established in their recovery. Participants’ families and loved ones are cordially invited to attend and share in their success, as are friends and community partners of HAS.
