3/2/12-How can Postpartum Depression Therapy help Me?

March 2, 2012 | 1 Comment

I have no doubt in my mind that this is the question that every woman asks herself before, during, and after her first trip to our offices. I see the look of apprehension on the face of many women as they sit down across from me for the very first time. Sometimes they even come right out and ask me:  How is talking going to make this awful experience go away???

Are you thinking about coming in for treatment, but would like to know more about what treatment for Postpartum Depression and other Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders looks like? And are you curious about whether it is any different from “regular” therapy? If so, you can learn all about treatment in the article, How Does Psychotherapy for Postpartum Depression Work, Anyway?, written by Postpartum Progress blogger and clinician, Kate Kripke.

Hello, I represent a Clinic at Sao Paulo, Brazil. The iotirmafonn you shared here will help us when working with a patient. Medical issues, sometimes, can be hard to know when a patient describes it or even when talking with a professional. Information like that always help to keep us updated. Thanks and Best Regards.
